About the Journal
JOIN: Journal of Indonesian Education and Learning [e-ISSN: 3110-083X (online)] is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Yayasan Bina Nagari Banyumas in collaboration with Jurusan Pendidikan Madrasah FTIK UIN Saizu Purwokerto.
The philosophy behind the word “JOIN” in the Journal of Indonesian Education and Learning is dialogue, openness, and community of practice. Its philosophical basis is derived from Vygotsky's concept in constructivist learning theory that learning experiences originate from a person's community of practice, which is constructed as a person's knowledge. This theory also requires openness in thinking and dialogue. Based on this philosophy, the JOIN: Journal of Indonesian Education and Learning is expected to become a medium for publishing research results in the field of education that prioritizes theoretical and practical studies so that they can be reconstructed by readers as new knowledge. JOIN: Journal of Indonesian Education and Learning serves as a dissemination medium for scientific articles related to significant new research findings on education and learning, including but not limited to:
- Educational Policy and Leadership
- Curriculum Development and Instruction
- Educational Technology
